Oh what a summer we had!
It was wonderful this year, wasn’t it? Collectively, those of us at Ponti spent time taking advantage of this beautiful place we call home. Crabbing in Bowman Bay, fishing off Sucia Island and boating around Friday Harbor were truly delightful experiences.
But honestly, the absolute highlight, the most amazing thing we did this summer, was a day tour of Sherman Creek Farm, LLC, complete with picnic, feeding and milking their goats and really, really fantastic cheese.
Jim & Karie Sherman run the most charming French Alpine Dairy Goat farm in the heart of the Puget Sound, on Vashon Island. Upon recommendation, we rounded up the staff and our families, hopped on the West Seattle ferry and headed over for a day on the farm.
